Paso Barreto y playas del río Aquidabán
Summer beaches on the Aquidabán River: Paso Barreto, about 65 km from Concepción, and Paso Urundey, in Horqueta.
What it is
The Aquidabán River offers two beach areas widely used by people in the north: Paso Barreto, about 65 km from Concepción, and Paso Urundey, in the Horqueta district, about five kilometres off the Bernardino Caballero route, around km 70. They are quiet places to swim in summer, fish and spend the day in the shade with family. They do not have the facilities of a formal waterfront: this is a simple rural outing.
