Fortín Trébol
A park and cemetery for fallen Chaco War soldiers, about 5 km from Filadelfia; it supported Fortín Toledo's right flank.
What it is
Fortín Trébol lies about 5 km north of Filadelfia, along the so-called Northern Line. It is both a place of remembrance and a park: it has a Paraguayan cemetery with graves of fallen soldiers and crosses scattered across the grounds. The site belongs to the Fernheim Colony and is overseen by its Parks Council; it is open to the public. During the Chaco War (1932-1935) the fort backed the operations at Fortín Toledo from the right flank.
