What it is
The Neuland museum safeguards the legacy of the first Mennonite settlers of German and Russian origin. Its collection includes farm machinery, musical and medical instruments, household utensils, pioneer clothing and educational materials. One of its most distinctive spaces is an old building that served as a school in the colony's founding days; it keeps objects made by the settlers themselves and others brought from Russia and Germany.
