Mirador y sendero al Cerro Muralla
A lookout inside Cerro Corá National Park with panoramic views of the hill and the Amambay range.
What it is
Inside Cerro Corá National Park, Cerro Muralla is a rocky formation with a lookout offering views of Cerro Corá and much of the Amambay range. An OpenStreetMap-mapped trail leads to the panoramic point. The park is also the stage of the last battle of the War of the Triple Alliance (1870), in which Marshal Francisco Solano López died, so the walk combines nature and history. Park rangers offer guided hikes with historical stories.
