What it is
'Cascada' is one of the fundamental works for the Paraguayan harp, composed by Luque-born Digno García. For years it served as the opening theme of Vatican Radio's programs for Latin America. García recorded it with Los Paraguayos for a Dutch label, together with 'Pájaro campana', and both pieces reached a worldwide audience.

According to his biography, Spanish artist Salvador Dalí admired Digno García's virtuosity and dedicated to him a rock-crystal work called 'La guitarra'.
