What it is

Kure Luque Ára means Luque pig day and is a free food festival organized by the Municipality's Culture Department on the Valois Rivarola bikeway. The 2022 edition counted 45 stalls serving pork, beef and chicken dishes, more than 5,000 kilos of meat and an ugliest-pig contest; entry is free and crowds come from across the metropolitan area and even from other cities. The stage hosts dance academies, folk groups, choirs and local and national artists, while around it a craft fair offers jewellery, textiles and ceramics. The event was suspended in 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic. It is one to attend with family and an empty stomach.
