What it is

Expo Caazapá is the biggest showcase of production and services in the region, the kind that mixes a farm and livestock fair with entertainment. It is run by an organizing commission with municipal support, and the national culture calendar lists it in January with a contact at the provincial government. In 2015, its 15th edition, it was held at the city's Plaza de los Héroes: four days with a blessing of the event, dance schools, singers and regional groups every night, and a queen pageant. Combine the visit with the Ykua Bolaños Festival, which is also held in Caazapá in late January.
