Access
The main entrance is on Route PY07 in Hernandarias, near Ciudad del Este. It is managed by Itaipú Binacional, which sets opening days, hours and bookings. Drive slowly on the stretch in front of the reserve, especially at dawn and dusk, because wild animals cross the road.
