Museo Histórico Tacurú Pucú
A museum aiming to preserve Alto Paraná's cultural and historical heritage, housed in the Chaco War Veterans Union building.
What it is
The Tacurú Pucú Historical Museum in Hernandarias was created to preserve and showcase the cultural and historical heritage of the Alto Paraná department. It operates in the premises of the Chaco War Veterans Union and, according to SENATUR, was in the second stage of its restoration process. According to Última Hora it hosts student groups and offers a trip through the department's history. It is a good stop to round off a dam visit with a local perspective.
