What it is

Fortín Falcón was Marshal José Félix Estigarribia's command post during the Chaco War. From here he directed the operations that led to one of the decisive victories against Bolivia: the Battle of Zenteno-Gondra in 1933, at Campo Vía. As part of its restoration, an entrance arch, a museum with an exhibition hall and a gallery, and a lookout were built. It is near Lolita, in Colonia Falcón, in the municipality of Campo Aceval, about 439 km from Asunción.
