Cerro Mymýi y los cerros de Ytororó
Three hills of 400 to 500 m (Tigre, Mymýi and Pelado) on Villarrica's eastern edge, ideal for hikes.
What it is
At the eastern edge of Villarrica municipality, in the Ytororó district, three hills rise: Tigre, Mymýi and Pelado, with heights between 400 and 500 metres. They belong to the Ybytyruzú orographic system and are among the hiking options closest to Guairá's capital. Cerro Mymýi is often combined with a visit to Itá Letra, a few kilometres away, and is a good place to see the range's relief without the demands of the highest peaks. It is countryside, with local roads, woods and streams. It is best to plan the outing with a local guide or the municipality's tourism office.
