Guairá Rally (Codasur round)
The South American rally championship comes to the roads of Guairá, based in Villarrica, with stages among hills and farming colonies.
What it is
The National Rally Championship travels through several departments over the year, and in 2026 the Guairá round also counts toward the Codasur South American Championship. Drivers from Paraguay and neighboring countries race on the department’s dirt roads, and the service park and start ramp draw big crowds. Late May brings cool days, ideal for combining the race with the waterfalls and lookouts of the Ybytyruzú hills.
