What it is
Luis Alberto del Paraná (Altos, 1926 – London, 1974) formed the Trío Los Paraguayos in 1953 with Digno García and Agustín Barboza, and later the group Los Paraguayos with his brother Reynaldo Meza, Rubito Medina and harpist José de los Santos González. Paraná recorded more than 500 songs and performed in over 70 countries, from the Olympia in Paris to the London Palladium and Madison Square Garden, carrying polkas, guaranias and boleros around the globe.
