Asunciónico
Paraguay’s mega music festival: three days of rock, pop and electronic music with international stars and Paraguayan bands.
What it is
Asunciónico is Greater Asunción’s big music festival and one of the biggest crowd-pullers in the region. Its sixth edition, in 2026, brought Deftones, Skrillex, Sabrina Carpenter, Lorde, The Killers and No Te Va Gustar to Luque’s Olympic Park over three days, alongside Paraguayan bands such as Villagrán and Kuazar. Tickets are sold for single days or as multi-day passes. Expect heat and crowds: music runs from afternoon to midnight, and many fans travel in from the rest of the country and neighboring nations.
What to see and do
- Top-tier international lineup
- Simultaneous stages with Paraguayan artists
- Big, young festival atmosphere
Tips
Tickets are sold on allaccess.com.py and go up in price in successive release tiers (in 2026 a general single-day pass started at ₲400,000). March is hot: bring water, sunscreen and comfortable shoes. Be patient getting out: in 2026 there were special electric buses running until the early hours, but check the transport arrangements for each edition before you go.
Dates may shift to the nearest weekend.
