What it is
Asu Jeguata (Guaraní for "Asunción walk") is the best-known walking route through the historic center. According to the city government it passes sites such as the National Pantheon of Heroes, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Cabildo and free museums, including the Economy Museum. On weekdays it mostly serves schools, universities and organized groups; on Saturdays it opens to everyone. On one September 2025 edition it started at the Manzana de la Rivera and ended at a building in the historic center. The city estimated about 10,000 participants in the first half of 2026.
