What it is
Salto Karapá is one of the natural gems of the Mbaracayú Forest Natural Reserve, in the Canindeyú department. Water falls forcefully among rock formations surrounded by dense subtropical forest. It lies in a relatively little-explored part of the reserve, which makes it special for those seeking an authentic experience: hiking, landscape photography and observation of native flora and fauna, in a serene setting with the sound of water.
