Parque del Guairá (Villarrica)
Villarrica's big green space with a 2.2 km bike path, public gym, courts and the Guaireña FC stadium.
What it is
Parque del Guairá is Villarrica's main green sports space. It has a bike path of about 2.2 km, a public gym and courts for padel, rugby, volleyball, football and basketball. It is a place to walk, cycle and share time with the community. The park holds the home stadium of Guaireña FC, the only local club to have played in the top division and even in the Copa Sudamericana; it holds about 11,000 spectators. For travellers it is a quiet pause between downtown visits: a bike ride or a sunset walk shows how the city spends a weekend.
