Optimist, ILCA and catamaran regattas with Paraguayan and Argentine clubs off the shore of San Bernardino.
What it is
The Paraguayan Sailing Federation and a host club (the San Bernardino Nautical Club in 2025, the Ypacaraí Yacht Club in 2024) organize this competition on Lake Ypacaraí, with more than forty sailors from local clubs and visitors from Corrientes and Posadas in Argentina. The Optimist, ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and catamaran classes compete, and the event counts toward the national ranking. From the shore you can watch the sails on the lake, far from the summer crowds.
