Yvoty Rape Flower Fair
The “path of flowers”: nurseries from Cabañas sell plants, cut flowers and citrus along the highway.
What it is
Yvoty rape means “path of flowers” in Guarani. In the Cabañas area, just before Caacupé, the region’s flower growers set up a fair every spring with ornamental plants, roses, sunflowers and orchids, plus citrus fruit, decor and goods from local small businesses. Growers explain how to care for each plant. It’s an ideal stop on the way to Caacupé or San Bernardino, just as spring fills the nurseries with color.
