What it is

The Amambay Expo brings together livestock, farming, industry and trade in the capital of Amambay, a border city joined to Brazil’s Ponta Porã by a single avenue. There’s a livestock ring, auctions, stands and shows, with a strong influence from Brazilian rural culture. It’s a chance to combine the fair with border shopping, Cerro Corá National Park about 40 km away, and the waterfalls of Capitán Bado.
