Visita a la Central Yacyretá y al Brazo Aña Cuá
A guided tour of the hydroelectric plant and the Aña Cuá arm powerhouse, coordinated from the Visitor Reception Center in Ayolas.
What it is
Yacyretá is the binational dam that Paraguay and Argentina share on the Paraná River, between Ayolas and Ituzaingó. The EBY offers a visit to the plant and to the Aña Cuá arm powerhouse. According to the official page you must arrive at least 30 minutes before each departure to register with an ID document. Comfortable clothes and shoes are requested and alcoholic drinks are not allowed. Minors without an ID card bring a birth certificate.
Schedule
The EBY page lists departures at 8:00 and 10:00 (morning) and 13:00 (last tour of the day); public hours 7:00 to 15:00. Check current times before you go.
Cost
The official page lists no fee; ask when you book.
