Paraguarí Rally (National Rally Championship)
Rally stages among the hills and valleys of Paraguarí, in the historic heart of the central region.
What it is
Paraguarí department, with its hills, valleys and colonial-era towns such as Yaguarón, Sapucai and La Colmena, hosts one of the rounds of the National Rally Championship. The cars race on dirt roads between hills and fields, with big local crowds along the stages and at the ceremonial start ramp. Late April brings mild temperatures, perfect for pairing the race with the railway museum in Sapucai or the Franciscan church of Yaguarón.
