What it is

Cordillera is one of the classic settings of Paraguayan rallying, with roads that climb and dip between hills, streams and rural communities. In 2026 it hosted a round of the FIA/Codasur South American Championship, replacing Bolivia. The dry winter is a good season to combine the race with Eusebio Ayala’s chipa and outings to Piribebuy, Caacupé and Tobatí.
