Canindeyú Regional Expo
The Rural Association’s livestock and farm fair in Canindeyú, with auctions, barrel racing and an asado contest.
What it is
Every summer the Canindeyú branch of the Rural Association of Paraguay brings together more than a hundred industrial, agricultural, craft and food exhibitors, plus hundreds of purebred animals such as Nelore and Angus cattle. There are auctions, a regional barrel-racing competition and an asado (barbecue) contest on Sunday. In 2026 it added a business matchmaking event aimed at Brazilian investors, a sign of a border region closely tied to Brazil.

Tips
In 2026 entry was free on Tuesday and Wednesday, and on Thursday and Friday until 4:55 p.m. The area is hot in February, so plan your visit for late afternoon.
