Right next to Encarnación, Cambyretá is now the second most populous district in Itapúa, yet its center, about 10 km away, keeps the feel of a farming colony. Its broad riverside promenade has green spaces, footpaths and bike lanes facing the river, and hosts canoeing, cycling and padel events. It is a crowd-free alternative to Encarnación's beaches and a good starting point for rural tourism in Nueva Alborada.
